School Bus Driver CDL

Responsible for the safe transportation of students from various pickup sites to final destination in a timely manner.

What You Will Do

Sign-in for morning and afternoon runs, perform daily pre-checks and post-checks of vehicles, and report any problems or deficiencies.

Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for sustained periods of time, and have the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum age to drive - 21 years old
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate on several levels
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Valid driver's license
• Clean Hawaii Driver History Record
• Criminal Abstract
• Ability to upgrade to CDL
• First Aid, CPR Certified
• Pass DDC (Defensive Driving Course)
• Meet all requirements of FMCSA, DOT, FTA and DOE as applicable
