Role OverviewResponsible for the safe transportation of students from various pickup sites to final destination in a timely manner.
What You Will Do
Sign-in for morning and afternoon runs, perform daily pre-checks and post-checks of vehicles, and report any problems or deficiencies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for sustained periods of time, and have the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum age to drive - 21 years old
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively and communicate on several levels
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Valid driver's license
- Clean Hawaii Driver History Record
- Criminal Abstract
- Ability to upgrade to CDL
- First Aid, CPR Certified
- Pass DDC (Defensive Driving Course)
- Meet all requirements of FMCSA, DOT, FTA and DOE as applicable
