Role OverviewBlake's school bus drivers are responsible for the safe transport of students to and from school. The position is based on a 20-hour workweek with two 2-hour route shifts and the possibility of additional charter hours. The position pays $28 an hour and up to $2,500 sign-on bonus for current licensed class B drivers with school bus endorsements.
What You Will Do
Daily transport of school-age children to and from home, centralized pickup points, and school campuses. Ensure safety and security of students, which may include directing and assisting in bus evacuation. Clean and fuel buses. Conduct pre-trip school bus inspection.

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong customer service skills—ability to interact with students and parents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Clean motor vehicle record history.
- Ability to be medically certified to drive a school bus by the Department of Transportation and any Blake-mandated physical testing.
- Class B commercial driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements or the ability to obtain class B commercial license.
- Ability to engage, interact, and communicate with students and their parents.
