Role Overview

The School Director is responsible for leading a staff of talented educators and executing educational programming for all programs, from Infant care through School Age. They will work directly under senior leadership, collaborating in a supportive environment where they are encouraged to grow in their field and share their passion for early childhood education.

What You Will Do

The School Director will develop, lead, and retain a talented team of people, manage all day-to-day operations, and meet all COA performance standards in terms of operations and education.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed childcare facility
  • Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
  • Flexible in challenging situations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Effective decision-making skills
  • Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must meet state requirements
