Role OverviewThe School Health Assistant I will work in a school setting, providing health-related services to students. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a School Health Assistant (SHA) training program or equivalent. The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and current certifications in CPR/AED, Basic Life Support (BLS), and First Aid. The School Health Assistant I will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and will not work within the scope of practice for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
