Role OverviewThe Scientific Director of Epidemiology will oversee a team of Research Scientists/Research Associates, collaborating with colleagues in other functional areas. The Director must have a successful track record of managing teams and overseeing the execution of multiple projects across internal and external stakeholders.

Effectively lead the Epidemiology team, develop and implement business strategies, assist teams in troubleshooting issues, and provide epidemiologic leadership and training.

Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in observational studies research
- At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
- At least 5 years within a pharmaceutical or consulting company
- Broad experience in quantitative methods in health services research
- Very good understanding of relevant methodology and statistics
- Deep understanding of healthcare research principles and knowledge of practical research implementation
