Job Description
The Scientific Writer/Editor will assist faculty investigators in soliciting competitively sought funds for research grant proposals and provide specialized support in the preparation of research grant proposals. The role will involve working with investigators to develop, write, and revise grant proposals, providing feedback to improve clarity and persuasiveness, and conducting prospect research and development.

Requirements

  • Advance degree
  • Doctorate Degree in a scientific or health-related field
  • 3+ years professional experience in scientific and medical writing
  • 3+ years Experience with submission of both small and large federal and foundation grants
  • Excellent critical analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to quickly acquire working knowledge regarding a variety of scientific/medical fields
  • Able to establish effective collaborations with faculty investigators in various disciplines
  • Able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Able to organize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
