Join Amgen's mission of serving patients as a Scientist - Protein Biochemist. Design, plan, and execute the generation of key enabling reagents for structure determination of target molecules via X-ray crystallography and/or cryo-electron microscopy. Collaborate with structural biologists to advance drug discovery efforts.

Requirements

  • Design and execute molecular cloning and protein expression strategies
  • Collaborate with structural biologists to generate high-quality protein samples
  • Develop and optimize purification protocols and reagents
  • Characterize and quality control protein samples using biochemical and biophysical techniques
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Present research findings effectively in written and oral formats
