Role OverviewAs a Supply Chain Procurement Senior Professional, you will be responsible for executing standard purchasing procedures, negotiating with suppliers, and facilitating cost reduction initiatives to enhance the affordability and quality of aircraft production. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to drive process improvement and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams. This role requires a strong analytical thinker with excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing suppliers, negotiating complex subcontracts, and identifying areas of improvement to reduce supply base risks.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include executing standard purchasing procedures, negotiating with suppliers, managing suppliers, and facilitating cost reduction initiatives. You will also be responsible for interacting with various internal customers, obtaining and furnishing supplier data, and maintaining an open order report for each supplier.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, and/or contract experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- Understanding of FAR/DFAR guidelines
- Must be a highly analytical thinker
- Must be willing to ask questions, perform research
- Requires excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
