Role OverviewThe Scrap Handler picks up product off the floor and discards it into the properly color-coded barrels or scrap modules, ensures that reusable product is placed in the proper barrels for regrind, keeps the department neat and clean, reports any issues to the supervisor or lead and fills out various log sheets.
What You Will Do
Responsible for picking up scrap/trash and discarding it into the properly color-coded barrel or scrap modules, assures that only product that is contaminated, burnt, or unfit for regrind is going into the proper color-coded scrap barrels, ensures that reusable product from the line is placed in the white barrels for regrind reprocessing.

Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable, use and read scales, ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator, comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
