Scrap Metal Grader

As a Material Grader at Trademark Metals Recycling, you'll receive incoming scrap, weigh and grade materials, and keep the warehouse moving efficiently. You'll learn to identify metals, catch what doesn't belong, and make sure every load is processed accurately. What You Will Do

Daily job duties include following safety procedures, receiving customers' scrap metal, weighing and entering material codes, inspecting incoming scrap, and operating a forklift. You'll also be responsible for keeping your work area clean and safe.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-stop outdoor and warehouse environment, able to stand or walk for most of the shift, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. You'll need to be dependable, able to shift priorities quickly, and complete tasks safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of general labor experience
• Preferably in scrap metal, warehousing, or construction
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-stop outdoor and warehouse environment
• Able to stand or walk for most of the shift (up to 12 hours)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and all weather conditions
• Dependable — shows up on time and stays on task without constant supervision
• Able to shift priorities quickly and complete tasks safely and effectively
• Forklift experience is a plus (not required — we train)
• Flexible to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Bilingual preferred
• Candidates within 50 miles of location preferred
• Must pass a hair drug test and background check
