Job Description
As a ReelShort Screenwriter, you will be responsible for reading web novels and adapting them into compelling screenplays. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in writing and a deep knowledge and interest in romance novels or TV shows.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of screenwriting experience
  • Strong creative screenwriting skills, particularly in romance and drama
  • Bachelor’s degree in History, English, Fine Arts, Screenwriting, or a related field
  • Comfortable writing young adult romance/drama, which may include sensitive and triggering content
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interest in reading novels
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the online reading or publishing industry, both historical and current
  • Passion for content creation and prior experience in the field is a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones
  • Eagerness to learn and gain experience in the gaming and content industry
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
