Job Description
Threads pipe as needed for compressor units. Installs threaded piping to Engineering specifications. Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws and pipe threaders.

Requirements

  • Ability to read isometric pipe drawings
  • Familiarity with manufacturing/fabrication processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure in US units (not metric)
  • Ability to read and use a level
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Welding knowledge such as GMAW/MIG hard-wire
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents
