Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Ophthalmic Scribe is to support the physician in the clinical setting by enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Accurately and thoroughly document ophthalmic exams and procedures
  • Record appropriate diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions
  • Provide patients and/or family members with self-care and follow-up instructions
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain clinic flow
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager, facility administrator, or physician(s)
