Job Description
Role Overview

The Scrum Master is a hands-on Agile delivery leader responsible for helping development, operations, and support teams plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality outcomes. The role goes beyond facilitating Scrum ceremonies and requires a strong understanding of the work teams are delivering, the dependencies and stakeholders that affect delivery, and the risks or impediments that may impact commitments.

What You Will Do

Facilitate and continuously improve Scrum ceremonies, develop a working understanding of products and systems, support teams in defining clear sprint goals, and manage dependencies across multiple development, operations, support, and business functions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Success in this role requires the ability to meet teams where they are, introduce practical Agile practices without over-engineering the process, and build sustainable delivery habits over time. The ideal candidate will have experience helping teams or organizations establish, mature, or improve Agile delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Strong practical understanding of Scrum, Kanban/flow-based work management, and hybrid Agile delivery models.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple Agile teams while maintaining awareness of what each team is developing, delivering, or supporting.
  • Experience helping teams or organizations establish, mature, or improve Agile delivery practices.
  • Ability to translate Agile principles into practical processes that fit the organization's current level of maturity and business needs.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, including backlog and board management, sprint/release tracking, dashboards, reporting, and workflow concepts.
  • Experience supporting technology delivery involving Salesforce is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams that include development, operations, technical support, and business stakeholders.
  • Background in service-based, help-desk, technical-support, or operational work environments.
  • Proven experience working across both project-based and operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to remove impediments, improve delivery flow, and reduce unnecessary work-in-progress, delays, and bottlenecks.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and bring the right participants together to resolve delivery issues.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to use delivery data, team context, and business priorities to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

Benefits

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be willing and able to travel periodically for team meetings, training events, company functions, and other business-related activities as needed.
