Role OverviewThe National Western Stock Show is seeking a motivated and technically curious individual to join our team as a Seasonal Assistant AV Technician. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and begin building a career in audiovisual technology, live events, broadcast, or event production.
What You Will Do
Assist with the setup, configuration, testing, operation, and teardown of audiovisual equipment and systems. Support live events, meetings, presentations, tradeshows, and productions throughout the National Western facilities.

Requirements
- Basic audiovisual systems and live event technology
- Audio systems, audio consoles, microphones, and stage patching
- Video systems, displays, projectors, LED walls, and presentation systems
- Livestreaming, broadcast, or video production
- Computer systems used for presentations, playback, livestreaming, and control systems
- Cable management and basic audio/video signal flow
- Basic troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment and systems
- Software used for audio, video, broadcast, livestreaming, or event production
