Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Transportation, District Eleven, is now accepting applications for Seasonal Highway Technicians for the following counties: Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, and Tuscarawas. As a Seasonal CDL Driver/Highway Technician 1, you will perform hands-on maintenance of traffic and flagging, highway maintenance and repair work activities, and operate heavy equipment.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include hands-on maintenance of traffic and flagging, highway maintenance and repair work activities, operation of heavy equipment, and performing snow & ice operations.

Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License at the appropriate level
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions
- Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment
