Role OverviewInterHealth Staffing, a for-profit staffing division of TGH, is offering 13-week seasonal assignments for CT Techs at Tampa General Hospital, a leading safety net hospital and top academic medical center. The role involves performing Computed Tomography Imaging under the direction of a section leader, requiring minimal supervision.
What You Will Do
Lead or perform CT imaging procedures including basic portable, fluoroscopy, extremity and chest x-rays, biopsies, drainage, trauma alerts, core CT protocols, Neuro and Cardiovascular CTAs, and sterile contrast studies. Assume responsibility for designated areas, serve as a resource person, assist with scheduling, policy development, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within the specific division being hired into
- One (1) year progressive responsibility within a CT diagnostic imaging department
- Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapy (RT), Nuclear Medicine (NM), or Radiography (R)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- CT Registry required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association
