Role Overview

The Environmental Services Technician is an integral part of the Facilities department, working with a diverse team to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the park and HQ facility. The role involves maintenance and repairs of all kinds, with a focus on cleanliness and organization.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of the role include maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, working with the Maintenance team, complying with additional cleanliness requirements, removing trash, using specialized cleaning products, reporting and removing graffiti, participating in snow and ice removal, and maintaining and reporting on custodial supplies.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will be extremely dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and a good communicator with staff and the public alike. They will have 2-3 years of experience in public space or outdoor space maintenance, and be able to lift up to 50lbs, use or be willing to learn scissor lifts, bobcat, and other machinery.

Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to travel 10 or more miles by foot or self-powered vehicle over the course of the day
  • Ability to bend, twist, grasp, crouch, crawl, and/or lift up to 30 lbs at a time
  • Ability to work holidays, weekends, early mornings, and/or evenings as part of a regular schedule
