Role OverviewThis is a seasonal, temporary position in the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 4, performing highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. The position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
What You Will Do
The selected candidate will serve the public, work to make the roads in Ohio safer, and perform snow & ice operations. They will also be required to work nights, weekends, & holidays &/or be on call.

Requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions
- Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment
