Role Overview

The role involves operating basic equipment related to snow and ice removal, and roadway maintenance. The technician will perform emergency response, clean-up, and traffic control. The position requires serving the public and working to make the roads in Ohio safer.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include operating basic equipment, performing emergency response and clean-up, and traffic control. The technician will also perform miscellaneous labor and bookkeeping tasks, operate two-way radio/base station, and respond to general inquiries from the public.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License at the appropriate level
  • Formal education in arithmetic
  • Ability to read, write, and speak common English vocabulary
  • 3 months of training or experience in operation of basic equipment
