Role OverviewThe Ranger is responsible for the safety and security of the Arboretum, interacting with guests, and enforcing policies. This is a Seasonal position, Full-Time from October - April.
What You Will Do
Patrols the grounds, responds to emergencies, assists with monitoring wildlife, and performs light groundskeeping tasks. Provides directions, answers questions, and enforces policies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience in public safety and first aid is highly desirable. A positive attitude and great customer service are a must. The Ranger will work as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team in a unique work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of relevant experience
- Retired Public Safety and first responder highly desirable
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency response required
- A current Arizona Type D driver's license required
