Role OverviewThe Seasonal Residential Driver position is a physically demanding job that requires servicing assigned routes with the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials. The position involves extensive physical exertion, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and unpleasant odors and sights. The hours and physical demands may vary by route or area.
What You Will Do
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, document checks, and attend scheduled training programs. Communicate customer requests, identify and report containers in need of repair or replacement, and ensure the number of containers on the route reconciles to the service level.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training. Must be physically able to enter/climb and leave truck cab frequently and push and pull up to 110 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Valid DOT medical card
- No DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
- No license suspensions within the last 2 years
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
- Legally eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
