Job Description

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • CPR certification, or ability to obtain, required before working independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, judgment, high moral integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to interact cordially with all guests, employees, and the public.
  • Ability to quickly assess and evaluate situations, identify critical issues, and respond accurately while following established protocols.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass Canterbury Park’s pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, work history verification, drug screening, and compliance with the Safe Driving Policy.
  • Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.
