Job Description
We are seeking a High School Teacher to serve students attending Lighthouse Academy Muskegon Community Building. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to achieve outstanding student achievement results, motivate students, and influence their behaviors through building meaningful relationships. The teacher will be responsible for providing educational experiences to meet the needs of youth enrolled in all programs.

Requirements

  • High School Teacher certification in Social Studies, Mathematics, Integrated Science, English, or Chemistry & Biology required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
