Role OverviewThe Section Chief of Construction Management North will oversee the Construction Management Section under the Division of Construction Management in the Bureau of Wastewater (BWT). The role involves planning, directing, maintaining, and evaluating the performance of staff employees engaged in construction work, including supervising construction projects, issuing Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and managing consultant contracts.
What You Will Do
The Section Chief will be responsible for allocating workload, reviewing construction specifications, drawings, and schedules, and overseeing emergency work. They will also manage the section's overtime budget, train staff, and keep updated lists of all projects.
