SECTION MANAGER, QUALITY ASSURANCE

Job Description
The Quality Assurance Section Manager will manage staffing assignments dealing with fabrication, welding, casting, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), materials, fasteners, and painting systems. The selected candidate will review and approve basic and complex QA test procedures, work with contractors, project managers, design engineers, construction managers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in planning, design, and design services during construction for process mechanical/environmental engineering projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or environmental engineering
  • Valid New York State License as a Professional Engineer
  • Six (6) years of full-time satisfactory experience in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plan examining work
  • At least two (2) years of experience in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity
