Role OverviewKaizen is a technology company that partners with local, state, and federal agencies to replace legacy systems with modern, AI-native software. The Security Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for building the operating machinery in the meantime, including authorization status gates, and will work on FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, and CMMC.
What You Will Do
The Security Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for delivering several key tasks, including creating an obligation register, standing up a monthly POA&M process, and assembling certification application materials. They will also be responsible for writing plans, documenting continuous monitoring and log retention, and answering agency security questionnaires.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have direct experience submitting in federal portals, specifically SPRS and PIEE, and will have run a NIST 800-171 self-assessment or RMF package end to end. They will also have hands-on experience with NIST 800-53 Rev 5 and be current on FedRAMP as it exists in 2026.
Requirements
- Direct experience submitting in federal portals, specifically SPRS and PIEE
- Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53 Rev 5
- Current on FedRAMP as it exists in 2026
- Experience with NIST 800-171 self-assessment or RMF package
- Ability to reason about a shared authorization boundary
- Working knowledge of the DoD Cloud Computing SRG and how Impact Levels sit on FedRAMP baselines
- Background in federal or defense contracting, agency-side, prime, or sub
