The role involves uniting security and engineering, spanning from cloud architecture to continuous monitoring of cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will be pivotal in building a secure foundation for Helsing's applications and cloud architecture.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in cybersecurity
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in native security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GuardDuty)
  • Third-party tools (e.g., Wiz, Snyk, Palo Alto)
  • Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Deep knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Thorough understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, TLS)
  • Virtual networking (VPCs, Subnets, Firewalls)
  • Log analysis, threat modeling, and root cause investigation
