Role OverviewThis position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers, and all visitors. The Security Guard will maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and hospital property.
What You Will Do
Perform routine interior and exterior patrols, monitor and control access to facilities, respond to security incidents, and provide a visible security presence to deter unsafe behavior.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, sound judgment, and situational awareness. Prior private security or public law enforcement experience is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) Unarmed Guard License
- Current and valid U.S. motor vehicle license
- De-escalation training completion within 90 days of hire
- BLS within 90 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross only)
