Role OverviewThe Security Manager holds a critical leadership role in managing and guiding LMI's security posture across Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph (preferred), and is responsible for supervising security analysts, directing security operations to ensure strict adherence to federal, contractual, and company policy requirements. Reporting to LMI's Vice President of Security, the Security Manager will safeguard personnel, facilities, and other national security assets.
What You Will Do
Lead, develop, and maintain robust security programs in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), SEADs, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other relevant federal regulations. Oversee physical and technical security programs, including access control systems, intrusion detection systems, surveillance systems, visitor management, and secure facility operations in accordance with ICD 705 and NISPOM requirements.

Requirements
- Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in industrial or government security program management, including team supervision
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of NISPOM/32 CFR 117, ICDs, SEADs, COMSEC, and handling of classified networks (e.g., SIPRNet, JWICS)
- Hands-on experience with clearance processing systems (DISS, NBIS), access control systems, and security incident management tools
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including policy writing, incident reporting, and security briefings
