Job Description
Security Monitor responsible for facility monitoring, surveillance, and administrative tasks in a residential facility. Requires high school diploma, NY State registration as a security guard, and 3 years of experience as a security monitor. Must be able to work independently and as a team player, with excellent written and verbal skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to work with diverse populations preferred.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid NY State Registration as a Security Guard
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a security monitor
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a 24-hour residential facility
  • Bi-lingual, Mandarin or Spanish preferred
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and as a team player
  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues of homeless families
  • Must have ability to be flexible with schedule as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must be computer literate and must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
