Job Description
Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is seeking a Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of guests and employees, responding to emergencies, monitoring premises, and maintaining customer service.

Requirements

  • Responding to guest and employee emergencies
  • Vendor, guest, and contractor check in/check out
  • Logging and dispatching lost and found
  • Receiving, handling, and dispatching of mail, packages and deliveries
  • Incident and accident response and reporting
  • Providing basic first aid
  • Regular monitoring and walking of hotel premises.
  • Maintaining outstanding customer service in all interactions with guests and colleagues
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols for the hotel
  • Maintaining the operational performance of in-room safes and door locks
  • Report building preventive maintenance projects so they may be assigned and addressed.
  • Support in facilitating hotel drills as it relates to preparation of emergency situations.
  • Assist in maintaining hotel-use keys, contractor keys, visitor badges
  • Respond to building life safety systems (fire control panel, elevator operations, hotel intercom system)
