Role OverviewProvides maximum protection for the safety and security of university and hospital personnel, patients, students, visitors, and Jefferson assets. Performs security duties either at a fixed post, or on patrol or while making rounds of campus/hospital buildings and grounds.
What You Will Do
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Performs security patrols, verifies identification badges, and escorts unauthorized persons from campus. Responds to calls for service, investigates incidents, and documents reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to understand all responsibilities and technology associated with the 24-hour Security Response Center (SRC). Must have completed all relevant Security Department training modules, and maintain all required training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Lethal Weapons Certification - Pennsylvania State Police Within 90 Days
