Role OverviewAs a Security Officer – Level 2 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Security Officer – Level 2 will patrol industrial premises to protect property and personnel against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other hazards at our Redondo Beach, CA location.
What You Will Do
Guards and conduct patrols on campus to protect property and personnel against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other potential hazards. Periodically patrol premises and examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to operate a company vehicle. Perform various escort duties on campus. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
- Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approval within a reasonable period of time
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Must possess a valid government issued driver’s license
- Must be able to operate/drive a company security vehicle
