Role OverviewProvide 24/7 coverage of safety and security to patients, visitors, and employees of St. Mary's Medical Center. Responsibilities include protecting patients and staff, reporting on building security and safety issues, and providing motorist assistance.
What You Will Do
Secure patient valuables, write and submit reports, assist with uncooperative individuals, and provide escorts for individuals on campus. Other responsibilities include investigating criminal and non-criminal incidents, and covering special events.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or the military, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer skills and typing proficiency are also required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Junior College/Technical School preferred
- Valid Operators' License
- Clean Motor vehicle record
- Minimum of 1-2 years of position-related experience
- 2-5 years of experience preferred
- Past experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military
- Basic computer skills (including typing/keyboarding/using a mouse)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good writing skills
- Good communication skills
- Basic First Aid knowledge preferred
