Job Description
The Franklin County Municipal Court is seeking a Security Officer Bailiff II - Armed 2nd Shift to maintain a safe environment for judges, employees, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for personal protection and security, access control and screening, monitoring and incident response, and patrol and safety enforcement. The position requires 5 years of full-time law enforcement experience and OPOTA Peace Officer Certification or equivalent.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years full-time law enforcement experience
  • OPOTA Peace Officer Certification or equivalent
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to ascend and descend 4 flights of stairs
  • Ability to run 20 yards
