Security Officer I

As a Security Officer I at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, you will provide protection to the hospital, patients, visitors, employees, and their property. You will perform duties such as patrols, access control, and investigations, and engage in opportunities for additional education and training.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include presenting a visible security presence, performing patrols, checking badges and passes, investigating complaints, and preparing reports. You will also assist patients, guests, and staff, and perform public service duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four years experience in public law enforcement, military police, or armed hospital security
• Valid State of Michigan drivers license
• Successful completion of Public Act 330 certification program
• Concealed Weapons Permit (for guns) required
