The Security Officer I will present a visible security presence, perform patrols, and maintain awareness of the environment to prevent or suppress activity contrary to hospital rules and regulations.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include presenting a visible security presence, performing patrols, assisting patients, guests, and staff, providing access control, investigating complaints, and preparing reports. The Security Officer I may also patrol parking lots, direct traffic, monitor security and fire equipment, and respond to Emergency Codes.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years experience in security and/or public law enforcement or military police
- Valid State of Michigan driver's license
