Job Description
We are seeking a Security Officer to provide customer service and maintain security at our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a high school graduate or some college, be trained in TIPS Alcohol Awareness, and possess a valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, as well as performing various tasks such as patrolling the building and grounds, reporting irregularities, and assisting with guest problems and complaints.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or some college
  • Trained in TIPS Alcohol Awareness
  • Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • CA Required Proprietary Private Security Officer (PPSO) Training and Valid Guard Card
  • Clean criminal record
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to communicate verbally with Guests, management and co-workers
  • Experience in Microsoft Word for Windows
  • Ability to type 25 wpm
  • Ability to understand Guests’ service needs
