Role OverviewThe Security Officer will perform diverse facilities functions, protect the physical assets of the company, and support the safety and security of persons, processes, and procedures. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance, participating in emergency response drills, and documenting routine and emergency activities. The Security Officer will also perform building reception and access control duties, select and use purchasing protocols, and assist in the coordination of snow/ice removal. The role requires the ability to work other shifts, non-standard work, or overtime hours to meet objectives and schedules.
What You Will Do
The Security Officer will participate in conducting preventive maintenance and repairs, participate in building evacuation and emergency response drills, document routine and emergency activity, perform building reception and access control duties, and assist in the coordination of snow/ice removal. The role also involves assisting engineers, supervisors, project managers, and other facilities personnel by providing support with projects.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Previous experience in security, police or other first responder role preferred
