Role OverviewThe Field Training Security Officer will work across multiple assigned locations, providing hands-on guidance and operational support during overnight assignments in Fort Collins. This position combines field instruction, mobile patrol work, officer coaching, and routine security responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Work directly with newly hired officers, demonstrate proper patrol methods, review post instructions, provide practical coaching, and offer clear and respectful feedback on performance and areas needing improvement.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
- Previous professional security experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, residents, and other members of the public
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to new employees
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining accountable for assigned responsibilities
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening
- Ability to work overnight hours and travel between assigned locations
