Role OverviewThe Security Officer is responsible for the daily security of the Hospital and its clinics, observing visitors and employees, and ensuring proper Hospital policies and procedures are followed.
What You Will Do
Prevent illegal activities, remove unauthorized persons, enforce identification badge policy, perform package-pass control duties, escort personnel, maintain order and flow of traffic, and report any employees under the influence of intoxicants.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be familiar with security equipment, demonstrate knowledge of proper use of equipment, and fulfill all instructions and assignments given by supervisors.
Requirements
- Military or Police work
- Security Officer experience
- New York State Security Guard Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
