Role Overview

The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for the Mitchell Hamline School of Law campus, serving as a first responder to emergencies and incidents. They provide customer service to students, visitors, staff, and faculty, and maintain the security of MHSL buildings.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include making regular security inspections, responding to emergencies and incidents, monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing campus rules, and providing safety escorts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with some specialized training of less than 2 years
  • 3 years security experience
  • Certification in first aid, self-defense, ASP training (or are willing to become certified or recertified)
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Acceptable FBI/BCA background check and Motor vehicle check
