Security Officer

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Security Officer to work with our Security Department. The Security Officer will protect and prevent illegal or unauthorized activity in the Hospital or on its campus.

What You Will Do

The Security Officer will serve, help, and protect patients, visitors, and employees in various manners. Past experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Operators License
• A clean motor vehicle record
• Meet Hospital Insurance Carrier requirements
• Physical Demands: Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, and crouch.
• Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions.
• Must possess ability to hear and interpret two-way radio calls.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be able to run.
• Visual and hearing acuity required.
• Must meet requirement of Cabell Huntington Hospital Insurance Provider.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
