Role OverviewThe Security Officer will work with the Security Department to protect and prevent illegal or unauthorized activity in the Hospital or on its campus.

The Security Officer will serve, help, and protect patients, visitors, and employees in various manners.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Past experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Operators License
- A clean motor vehicle record
- Meet Hospital Insurance Carrier requirements
- Physical Demands: Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, and crouch.
- Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions.
- Must possess ability to hear and interpret two-way radio calls.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must be able to run.
- Visual and hearing acuity required.
- Must meet requirement of Cabell Huntington Hospital Insurance Provider.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
