Security Officer, Swing - Saj

The Security Officer, Swing - Saj will enforce all laws, rules, and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department. The role will involve adhering to all PRH and CSDC policies and procedures, and the Center Operating Procedures. The Security Officer will patrol assigned areas, transport students, and maintain Student Accountability logs.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities will include enforcing laws, rules, and regulations, transporting students, patrolling areas, and maintaining logs. The Security Officer will also conduct searches, provide escort services, and participate in the disciplinary process.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid State Driver's License, and experience in a security or work-related capacity. The candidate should also have knowledge of crowd control techniques, law enforcement procedures, and CPR/FA Certification.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid State Driver's License
• Three to six months' experience in a security or work-related capacity
• Class B License with passenger/air brake endorsement preferred
• Knowledge of crowd control techniques
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures
• Ability to obtain a bus driver's license
• Must maintain CPR/FA Certification
• Familiarity with problems of underprivileged, minority groups, especially youth
• Good writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
