Role OverviewConvergint is looking for a full-time Security Technician to join our dynamic team. The role involves installing, programming, and servicing security systems, as well as providing technical support and training to customers.
What You Will Do
The Security Technician will install, program, and test security systems, repair equipment, and provide technical support and training to customers. They will also work closely with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to coordinate projects and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
- Solid technical skills and experience in fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems
- Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
