Job Description
We are seeking a Security Start Up Technician I to join our team. As a Security Start Up Technician I, you will assist in preparing security hardware and software for acceptance testing, and perform start-up activities on intrusion, access control, and CCTV system projects. You will also assist with acceptance testing and calibration adjustments on field devices. You will work closely with higher level technicians and customer representatives to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, as well as standards of conduct and appearance.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two-year technical degree in Electrical Systems Technology or 1 year's work experience in security systems
  • Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient knowledge of common electrical instruments and their proper use
  • Working knowledge of basic intrusion, access control, and CCTV systems
  • Exposure to networked based systems and I/P based systems
  • Proficient personal computing skills and familiarity with Microsoft office
  • Above average math skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and control drawings, specifications, schematics, and ladder diagrams
  • Ability to interpret sequences of operations with good attention to detail
