Role OverviewDewberry is seeking a talented Security/Technology (Low Voltage) Designer to enhance our Technology group within the Engineering Design Center located in Birmingham, AL. The individual will leverage their 3+ years of experience in low-voltage systems while also developing expertise across various technical disciplines and management. The Security/Technology Group is responsible for security electronics, telecommunications infrastructure, and audio/visual designs for various project types.
What You Will Do
Provide technical design for discipline area, peer review project work, work with team members to establish/improve standards, adhere to project design schedules and budgets, and provide general updates of projects.

Requirements
- H.S. Diploma required
- Required certifications include: Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or Physical security Professional (PSP) certifications.
- Accomplished (3+ years of experience) in low voltage systems including: Structured cabling, both inside and outside plant, Electronic Physical Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, Overhead Paging, Audio/Visual, Nurse Call, Real Time Locating Systems, Infant (and memory care) Protection, Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems
