Job Description
1Password is seeking a Senior Account Executive - Commercial to manage a territory of target-accounts and an existing book of business, with a focus on acquiring new Commercial clients and expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs. The role requires strong business acumen, relationship building, solution selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts. The candidate will be responsible for managing pipeline, building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, inbound leads, cold calling, and networking, utilizing the formalized sales process (MEDPICC preferred). The role also requires collaboration cross-functionally with internal teams, building collaborative relationships with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive satisfaction, optimize client engagement, and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering forecasts to upward management
  • Demonstrated success in upselling & cross-selling to both new customers and across a book of business
  • Advanced skills in prospecting, pipeline building, strategic account planning, value-based selling, and territory management
  • Business acumen, relationship building, solution selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management
